Dr Iwona Knurowska, author of doctoral dissertation entitled “Own Shares of a Joint Stock Company” won second prize from the National Depository of Securities S.A. in the Scientiae Legis Excellentia competition for the best PhD dissertation in the Capital Markets category, which stood out for the way it addressed legal issues and its perspective of the development of capital markets in Poland and Europe.
